Yahoo Movies 13 Going on 30 musical confirms world premiere in Manchester
13 Going on 30 is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year (yes, we feel old too), and we can exclusively reveal that the musical adaptation is having its world premiere next year in Manchester.
ROYO, Revolution Studios, Wendy Federman and Phil Kenny have announced that 13 Going on 30 – The Musical, written by the movie's writers Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa, will be opening at the Manchester Opera House on September 21, 2025.
It follows a successful workshop last year in London for the new version of Jennifer Garner's classic 2004 rom-com, which also starred Mark Ruffalo, Judy Greer and Brie Larson in one of her first movie roles.
Casting for 13 Going on 30 – The Musical is to be announced, but we can debut the official poster for the musical which features a dress that every fan of the movie should remember.

13 Going on 30 – The Musical will be directed by the award-winning Andy Fickman with songs by Michael Weiner and Alan Zachary, who have worked on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
Tickets will go on sale at 1.30pm on Wednesday, November 13 for the limited run from September 21, 2025 to October 12, 2025, priced from £15.

13 Going on 30 – The Musical runs from September 21, 2025 to October 12, 2025 at Manchester Opera House.
