2020 movies: Everything new coming to Disney+ UK in November

Disney+ has announced the new titles coming to the streaming service this November.

Highlights include a whole new season of The Simpsons with 22 new episodes), a new animated Mickey Mouse series, the four new chapters from the second season of The Mandalorian, a new LEGO Star Wars adventure, and a new Christmas film starring Anna Kendrick.

November will also see new episodes of Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Weird But True, The Right Stuff, One Day At Disney, and Inside Pixar coming to the platform.

Here’s everything new coming to Disney+ in the UK in November. Right now, Disney+ costs £5.99 per month in the UK, or £59.99 for a whole year.

The Simpsons - Season 31

Everyone’s favourite family is back for the 31st season of the longest running scripted primetime show in television history, The Simpsons. Tune in for an all-star lineup of guests including Billy Porter, Jane Goodall, Jason Momoa, Cate Blanchett, and Kevin Feige, special musical performances from the likes of Weezer and John Legend, and fan-favourite episodes “Thanksgiving of Horror” and “Treehouse of Horror XXX”

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D - Season 7

The final series of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is in reach. Exclusively on Disney+, the series lands on 13 November and dives straight into the final mission... LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special

LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special reunites Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and the droids for a joyous feast on Life Day, a holiday first introduced in the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special. The new LEGO special is the first to debut on Disney+ and will continue the rich legacy of collaboration between Lucasfilm and LEGO—playful adventures told in the endearingly irreverent way that only LEGO Star Wars co-branded content can.

Enjoying The Right Stuff? You’re in for a treat... Nearly six decades after NASA successfully sent its first astronaut into space, restoring the world’s faith in the U.S. space program, Disney+ ventures back to the very beginning of the high-stakes space race era with the premiere of The Real Right Stuff this November.

The Real Right Stuff tells the remarkable true story of the nation’s first astronauts, the original Mercury 7, and pulls from hundreds of hours of archival film and radio broadcasts, interviews, home movies and other never-before-seen material to catapult viewers back to the late 1950s. The two-hour documentary, from National Geographic, complements the Disney+ original scripted series The Right Stuff which will premiere its season finale on the same day.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Disney+ has mined the 20th Century Fox archives to bring 2009’s Ice Age threequel to the streaming platform in time for Christmas. Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary reprise their roles from the first two films and Queen Latifah, Seann William Scott, and Josh Peck reprise their roles from The Meltdown, with Simon Pegg joining them in the role of a weasel named Buck.

Noelle

In Disney+ holiday comedy Noelle, Kris Kringle’s daughter is full of Christmas spirit and holiday fun, but wishes she could do something “important” like her beloved brother Nick, who will take over from their father this Christmas. When Nick is about to crumble like a gingerbread cookie from all the pressure, Noelle (Anna Kendrick) suggests he take a break and get away... but when he doesn’t return, Noelle must find her brother and bring him back in time to save Christmas.

The Mandalorian

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Streaming from 27 November

Another title from the 20th Century Fox archives hitting Disney+ in November is the third Chronicles of Narnia film from 2010. Interestingly, Fox stepped in to produce The Voyage of the Dawn Treader when Disney dropped out, but now the House of Mouse owns all three of the noughties Narnia films. It stars Ben Barnes as King Caspian and Simon Pegg as the voice of Reepicheep, making this the second new addition to Disney+ in November to feature the Hot Fuzz star playing a small furry critter.
