Anton Yelchin's Parents Suing Chrysler Over Son's Jeep Death
The parents of Anton Yelchin are filing a wrongful death suit against Fiat Chrysler, according to reports.
The 27-year-old ‘Star Trek’ actor was killed in June when his Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled down his driveway and crushed him.

But it has since emerged that the car had been the subject of hundreds of complaints from owners over safety fears.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has recorded over 250 accidents thought to have been caused by the vehicle’s gear shifting system, which can lead drivers to believe the car is in park when it is actually in neutral.
The issue has caused so-called ‘rollaway’ crashes, though it’s not been confirmed that such an incident was the cause of Yelchin’s death.
Aglobal recall of the vehicles was issued earlier this year over the safety concerns.
Viktor and Irina Yelchin filed the suit yesterday, according to the family’s lawyer Gary Dordick.
Yelchin, best known for playing Chekov in the rebooted ‘Star Trek’ movies, was killed in June 19 at his studio city home.
Friends discovered him after he had failed to turn up for a rehearsal earlier that day.
It’s since emerged that he left an estate of nearly $1.4 million, but had made no will.
