Christmas will come early for movie fans in 2023 as some of the biggest and most exciting films of the year will be available to stream ahead of 25 December, and beyond.

All the big streaming platforms — Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Paramount+, and NOW — have lined up some incredible titles for people to enjoy at home throughout the festive period.

So as the nights draw in and the festive treats get rolled out, these are the big new movies we'll all be streaming at home over Christmas.

Need something to keep the kids entertained for two hours? Sky Cinema and NOW have the Shazam sequel now streaming if you fancy something of the superhero variety over the festive period. Starring Zachary Levi, Helen Mirren, and Pierce Brosnan, there's something to keep all ages happy in this spandex-heavy sequel.

One of the biggest movies of 2023 is coming home for Christmas. Illumination's all-conquering Super Mario Bros. Movie (only Barbie surpassed it at the box office this year) is Sky Cinema's big movie launch of the Christmas period, and can also be streamed on NOW.
