Black Panther has topped the Official Film Chart for the first times as audiences revisit Chadwick Boseman’s memorable lead performance as T'Challa, in the 2018 Marvel film.

Boseman sadly died on 28 August following a private, four-year battle with colon cancer.

The film – which was released before the Official Film Chart’s inception – first entered the Top 10 last week at number nine following a flurry of sales after the news was announced, and lifts this week to the top spot as fans continue to look back at the career of the esteemed late actor.
