Speaking about the movie to Jimmy Fallon back in October, she said that making it gave her ‘closure’ on the character, who tragically gave her life in Avengers: Endgame.

“The movie brought a closure to me that I needed ’cause I was kinda wiped out after that last one. Emotionally and literally,” she said.
“People just don’t want to believe it. They have tried to convince me that my character did not actually die, [or] that maybe my character exists in an alternate universe. But no, I think death is a pretty final thing.”
No any more, it seems.
Black Widow comes to cinemas May 2020.
