Tom Hanks ‘wasted’ pizza pics go viral

Tom Hanks has always come across as a good egg.

As if to compound this, the Hollywood A-lister has got himself a viral hit on his hands after posing for a series of faux-drunken pictures with fans.

A group of friends bumped into Hanks at a pizza restaurant in North Dakota, and persuaded him to pose with them 'getting wasted'.

One of the pics shows Hanks having his glasses stolen, with the young fans variously slumped against him and face first into their pizza, while Hanks plays up to the camera.

Posted on Reddit, the pics were introduced by user Groucho29 saying: "My friend met Tom Hanks, stole his glasses and pretended to be wasted."

Views of the candid snaps are set to top one million views, with a widespread outpouring of respect being afforded the 'Forrest Gump' star.

Hanks is thought to have been on holiday with his wife Rita in Fargo, North Dakota, at the time.
