Bridget Jones 4 is bringing back more original cast members
Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy has confirmed more returning cast members.
The recently-announced fourth movie previously revealed that Renée Zellweger would be coming back as the titular character alongside Hugh Grant's Daniel Cleaver.
A number of new cast additions have now been unveiled, which include the returns of Sarah Solemani, Sally Phillips, Shirley Henderson and James Callis as Bridget's friends Miranda, Sharon, Jude and Tom.

Jim Broadbent and Gemma Jones will also be back as Bridget's parents Colin and Pamela.

They all join the previously-confirmed Emma Thompson, who is back Doctor Rawlings, as well as Doctor Strange's Chiwetel Ejiofor and One Day's Leo Woodall.

Mad About the Boy is based on Helen Fielding's 2013 novel of the same name, which confirms that Colin Firth's character Mark Darcy has passed away and Bridget is left to raise two kids on her own.
It is unclear at the moment whether the movie will be taking this route, though Firth is not among the cast announcements.
Opening up about the movie adaptation recently, Grant said (via People): "It's partly based on Helen Fielding's experiences of bringing up two children by herself after her husband died.
"And so Bridget is bringing up two kids and wondering whether she should ever go back to dating," he added, teasing that "it's a very good script" and is "very moving as well as funny".
Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy will be released on February 14, 2025.
