Dan Osborne reveals why he will likely never go back to TOWIE: 'I don't need the drama...'
Dan Osborne "doesn't need" the drama that comes with being on reality TV.
The 32-year-old star made his name as a regular cast member on 'The Only Way Is Essex' alongside the likes of Gemma Collins and Mark Wright but almost a decade after he left, he has admitted he would be unlikely to ever consider a comeback to the ITVBe show.
He told new! magazine: "Probably not. I’m alright [laughs]. That just makes for drama, and I don’t need it. No, what am I going to do?"
The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' star - who is now married to 'EastEnders' actress Jacqueline Jossa and has Ella, nine, and Mia, five, with her as well as 10-year-old Teddy with former partner Megan Tomlin - also admitted when asked if he is still a fan of the genre, that he doesn't really pay things like 'Love Island' any attention.
He said: "Not really. I know a few previous contestants; I’ve done a few charity football matches and got to meet them there, and that’s when I found out they’ve been on 'Love Island', but I just don’t watch it. I prefer to put on a good series or a movie. And with Love Island, they’re all on it for some followers and a bit of a link-up with PrettyLittleThing [the clothing brand] – I don’t think they’re actually on it for love. It’s just not my thing."
Meanwhile, Dan also noted that it is unlikely that he and Jacqueline will ever have any more children, especially now that she has returned to the role of Lauren Branning full-time on the BBC One soap.
He said: "I don’t think we’ll have any more. I think we’re good. We have spoken about it, but Jacqueline’s back at work now. Our youngest one, Mia, is nearly six, and it’s hard to go back and start all over again. Three is a good number as well."
