Daniel Radcliffe Could Be Up For Playing Grown-Up Harry Potter

Radcliffe fans, be heartened… the Harry Potter star has said that he *might* be up for going again as the boy wizard.

But he added that it would have to be a ‘pretty extraordinary’ situation for it to happen.

Speaking to the Radio Times about the possibilities of such a thing, he said: “It would depend on the script.

“The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo and look what happened there!

“So I am saying 'no’ for now, but leaving room to backtrack in the future.”

We’ll take that as a 'possibly’, then.

But for now, the role of Harry Potter the Elder is currently taken up by Jamie Parker, who’s playing the character in 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ in London’s West End.

It’s a production that Radcliffe has said that he probably won’t be attending, for fear of drawing attention away from the players involved.

He told E! News: “I could be completely wrong in this, but I feel like if I went to see it that night, there’s going to be a lot of Harry Potter fans there in the audience obviously and would that then become a thing?

“Would it be more about them watching me watch the show or would it take away from the show?”

He’d probably struggle to get a ticket anyway.

Opening properly in July, following this month’s previews, the show is already sold out well into 2017.

Next up, he’ll be seen in ‘Now You See Me 2′, alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson, and then, in something of a departure, playing a flatulent corpse in the movie ‘Swiss Army Man’.
