Yahoo Movies Desperate Housewives stars reunite for Christmas movie
Desperate Housewives fans can get a little excited this festive season as we're set to see a mini reunion of two of the show's stars.
As reported by TVLine, Teri Hatcher and James Denton are teaming up for a little film called A Kiss Before Christmas. And if that name sounds very much like a Hallmark movie to you, then congratulations, you're spot on.
The premise of the film sees a married father of two teenagers, Ethan Holt, lament that he's not getting where he wants to in his career because of his nice-guy attitude. His wish comes true as he wakes up on Christmas morning to discover that he's CEO of his company. But his wife isn't with him and his kids haven't been born. Can he undo his mistake before the clock strikes Christmas?

Denton, who is leading the film as Ethan, is also serving as producer, and said that he feels this is the perfect way to make his Christmas movie debut with the channel.
"From the very beginning I wanted the first Hallmark Christmas movie I produced to be unique. I had no idea that we'd be lucky enough to get Teri. We've always wanted to work together again, and we found the perfect vehicle for what I think is the first Desperate Housewives reunion. And since we're on Hallmark, I don't have to worry about getting shot at the end."
"The chemistry and friendship we had on Desperate Housewives is alive and well all these years later," Hatcher added, "and the loving, warm spirit of the holidays is the perfect backdrop for reuniting. It's amazing to be back together. It's just like old times. You won't want to miss it."
The movie is set to premiere during Hallmark's annual 'Countdown to Christmas' event, but an exact date hasn't been announced just yet.
A Kiss Before Christmas will premiere on Hallmark Channel in December.
