What to watch on Disney+ in April?
Disney+ has a busy month ahead in April, with subscribers set to be treated to the newest animation from the beloved studio as well as exciting new dramas and documentaries.
Whether you're looking for a family favourite, the next National Geographic series, or a gripping drama from Ryan Murphy, there's something for everyone. In celebration of Earth Day, nature documentaries like Secrets of the Octopus and Disney Nature's Tiger will also be released during the month, while reality TV fans will be treated to Lisa Vanderpump's new series Vanderpump Villa.
Here are just some of the TV shows and films to enjoy in April on Disney+.
Wish | 3 April
Disney celebrates the centenary of its animation studio with the film Wish which follows Asha (Ariana DeBose), a sharp-witted idealist who lives in a town where wishes can come true if their ruler Magnifico (Chris Pine) allows it to come true.
Streaming in April
Feeling it isn't fair that he gets to decide whose wishes are fulfilled or not, Asha decides to stand up for what she believes in and is given the help of Star. The movie is full of catchy songs and enchanting Easter eggs to the studios' history, 100 of them to be exact.
FX's Feud: Capote vs The Swans | 17 April
Ryan Murphy's Feud returns for a second season, this one follows Truman Capote (Tom Hollander) as he ruins his friendships with an elite group of women, known as the Swans, after writing a fictionalised account about their hedonistic lifestyle which wasn't nearly covert enough.
The series also stars Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Chloë Sevigny, Calista Flockhart, Demi Moore and Molly Ringwald as the Swans in question. And the series sees several members of the Swans decide to ruin Capote's life in turn.
Thank you, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story | 26 April
Learn more about rock icons Bon Jovi in this new four-part documentary, which gives music fans a chance to venture backstage and learn more about the iconic band. As well as explore the band's epic past it will explore their uncertain future over the course of their 40 years in the business.
Vanderpump Villa | 1 April
Lisa Vanderpump stars in a new unscripted docu-drama which follows the staff who work at her French estate: Chateau Rosabelle. The series sees her hand-selected staff enjoy some drama of their own as they serve luxury guests.
The Greatest Hits | 12 April
Lucy Boynton and Justin H. Min star in this time-travel romantic drama about Harriet, a woman who is thrust into the past by particular songs after her partner Max's (David Corenswet) death. When Harriet meets a new man (Min), she struggles with letting go of the past and embracing the future, as she tries her hardest to find a way to save Max whilst also finding herself more and more drawn to her new lover.
