Divisive Halloween sequel is now available to watch on Netflix

Halloween Ends, the final film in the trilogy of Halloween sequels, is now available to watch on Netflix.

Originally released in 2022, the third instalment landed on Netflix UK today (August 16). It follows the events of Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills (2021). Halloween Ends sees Jamie Lee Curtis reprise her role as Laurie Strode, as she comes up against serial killer Michael Myers for the final time.

Though Laurie has tried to move on with her life, alongside her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak), the pair are thrown back into the chaos after attempting to defend the local pariah Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell).

Recently accused of murder, Corey becomes romantically involved with Allyson. However, things rapidly escalate when Corey finds himself face to face with Michael Myers.

Halloween Ends brings the rebooted series to close, as Curtis bows out of her iconic role. Speaking to Digital Spy before its release, the actor shared why the movie was likely to make fans "angry".

"I've been saying people are going to be angry from the beginning. They're going to be angry because we're saying something about all of us as a society. This is about victims. This is about victim shaming," she explained.

"This is about what happens in a town when we have all become monsters. People don't like to be told they're monsters. You've seen the monsters on Twitter. All that social media has done is really reminded us all that we're monsters, and that we have that power.

"It's a movie about Michael and Laurie coming in for this final inevitable battle between good and evil, but in the midst of it all, it's asking is Michael really just evil or are we all a little bit culpable here?"
