Emma Stone had 'a blast' choreographing Kinds of Kindness dance

Emma Stone had "a blast" improvising her own dance for her new movie Kinds of Kindness.

The Oscar-winning actress went viral earlier this year after the trailer for the movie was released, showing a clip of her busting a move like nobody's watching.

Introducing the film at London's Curzon Mayfair on Monday, Stone told the audience that she was thrilled to create a dance inspired by an off-screen moment while filming Poor Things.

"I was just dancing on the set of Poor Things between takes and my friend Laura took a little video and I sent it to Yorgos (Lanthimos) and he's like, 'This dance would be great in Kinds of Kindness' so I got to choreograph and improvise my own dance, which was a blast," she shared.

Kinds of Kindness marks Stone's fourth collaboration with Lanthimos following The Favourite, Poor Things and the short Bleat. The movie features the Greek director's regular roster of stars such as Willem Dafoe and Margaret Qualley as well as newcomers like Jesse Plemons and Hong Chau.

During the event, Plemons reflected on joining Lanthimos' company of actors.

"It was a treat, it truly was. I knew going into it it would be unlike anything I've done previously and I was absolutely right," he said. "I really love it, I've never seen anything like it."

Kinds of Kindness will be released in cinemas on Friday.
