Emma Stone Is Stunning As Ever At Amazing Spider-Man 2 World Premiere

Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield and the other stars of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ walked the red carpet at London’s Leicester Square for the world premiere.

Series star Andrew Garfield arrived via a Spider-Man-branded red bus for the event, hand-in-hand with children from Kids' City - a charity for youngsters in deprived areas of London.  He looked adorable we think you’ll agree.

Speaking during the event, exclusively live-streamed by Yahoo, Garfield said his character Peter Parker “was a kid in there. [The film] shows that you can be completely imperfect, stumble through school, through relationships and still be a hero.”

He added that new villain Electro – played by Jamie Foxx, is about “the tragedy of bullies”.

Emma Stone, reprising her role as Spider-Man’s love interest Gwen Stacy in the film, was characteristically stunning in a full-length yellow gown. The star and Garfield have been romantically linked in real life.

Amazingly Stone was rather flustered on the red carpet, telling our reporter “I’m wondering if there are  people who are good at giving clear answers in overwhelming situations!”

But she did say that that she was glad to be back with cast, who felt like a “family” to her.

Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx explained that the success of ‘Django Unchained’ helped bring him onboard to play Max Dillon/Electro. “Django made me part of the Sony family, so they brought in me and I wanted to make something for the kids, you know?”

The actor wowed the crowd with an impromptu dance with his co-star Garfield on the red carpet. Watch it in all its glory below.

Dane DeHaan, who plays new villain Harry Osborn, said: “It’s like my childhood dream and big grown-up acting dream to be involved in Spider-Man.” His character is the son of Norman Osborn (played by Chris Cooper in the film).

Producer Avi Arad hailed series star Garfield as “one of the better actors of our generation."

He added: “Andrew is what makes the character – he’s physical, cerebral and funny. Andrew was a gymnast when he was younger, and it made his spider-movement more realistic.”

Director Marc Webb, on Spidey duty for the second year running, said they wanted to bring more humour to the character this time around. He told us: “When we were writing the movie we had a group of comedians in a room writing jokes for Andrew [Garfield] to use.”

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ is out in cinemas April 16, 2014.  Watch the full London Premiere below.
