The White Lotus star has also recently been announced to be starring in a romantic comedy from Easy A director Will Gluck, who's reworking the script from High School Musical: The Musical - The Series writer Ilana Wolpert.

The untitled R-rated project sees Sweeney star opposite Top Gun: Maverick and Set It Up actor Glen Powell.

But the Cassie Howard actress will also channel Jane Fonda in a remake of 1968 sci-fi adventure Barbarella, which she is also set to produce.

On TV, Sweeney is expected to return to Euphoria for an already-confirmed third season.

Americana doesn't have a wider release date yet.
