Fan's Health Concern Over Hugh Jackman Snap

Isn’t Wolverine supposed to be pretty much immortal?

Judging by this shot posted by Hugh Jackman on his Instagram page, it looks like time might be catching up with him.

Presenting a platter of roasted fish, he captioned: “Now that’s what I’m talking about!”

But it was his aged appearance rather than the plethora of delicious seafood that fans seems most taken aback by.

One noted: “I hope that is make-up”, while another added: “My hero become old, hope you have good health, love you….”

“What’s wrong with you,” asked another, rather bluntly.

Indeed, Jackman, now 47, and with grey appearing in his beard, did look rather older than his usual ripped and rippled self.

But then perhaps it was indeed make-up from the currently-filming Wolverine movie, some fans deciding that it could be his ‘Old Man Logan’ beard.

‘Old Man Logan’ was the eight-issue comic series penned by Mark Millar in the late 2000s, featuring a more ‘distinguished’ Wolverine.

And it is this series that the forthcoming, James Mangold-helmed movie is based on.

This will be Jackman’s final jaunt as the be-clawed X-Man, after having played the character since Bryan Singer’s first ‘X-Men’ movie in 2000, his breakthrough role.

The so-far untitled Wolverine movie, also starring Patrick Stewart and Richard E. Grant, is due out in March, 2017.
