Over the summer, Depp was embroiled in an incredibly high-profile divorce from his ex-wife, Amber Heard, with Heard alleging that Depp had physically abused her on multiple occasions.

The actor publicly denied all of the allegations made against him and his daughter, 17-year-old Lily-Rose, and ex-wife, Vanessa Paradis, both spoke out in his defence as Heard was granted a restraining order against Depp, who eventually agreed a divorce settlement with Heard outside of court.
