Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them: Watch Newt chase down a Demiguise in exclusive deleted scene

JK Rowling’s Wizarding World returns to home entertainment on March 27 when ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’ arrives on 4K Ultra HD ™, 3D, Blu-ray ™ and DVD.

The film comes packaged with countless extras, clips, and never-before-seen footage so we’re absolutely thrilled to be able to share a brand new deleted scene that didn’t make it into the theatrical release.

Watch it above in full. As you can see the visual effects on the beast remains unfinished, giving you a fascinating glimpse at a work in progress.

The clip shows Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler), Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston), and her sister Queenie (Alison Sudol) as they track down the escaped Demiguise in a New York department store.

The fab four have located the ape-like creature that can turn invisible when threatened, but catching the thing as they inevitably find out is far easier said than done. As Newt explains “its sight operates on probability. It can foresee the most likely immediate future.”

It then falls to Jacob, the only No-Maj (muggle) of the group to catch hold of the Demiguise, which he hilariously manages to do with disastrous results.

It’s a great reminder of the blockbuster that should keep fans going until the official release.
