Lionsgate Promotes Chase Brisbin To EVP International SVOD Sales & Head Of Global Channels

Lionsgate and Lionsgate Studios has upped Chase Brisbin to EVP, International SVOD Sales and Head of Global Channels.

The promotion comes as Lionsgate continues to grow its billion-dollar-plus global distribution business, licensing more than 20,000-titles from its film & television library on several platforms around the globe.

“Chase is a respected and forward-looking executive with a strong grasp of emerging trends in the global marketplace,” said Lionsgate President of Worldwide Television Distribution Jim Packer. “As the distribution landscape continues to evolve, her perspective and expertise make her the natural choice to lead our global FAST business while continuing her oversight of our International SVOD business.”

In her expanded role, Brisbin will manage Lionsgate’s portfolio of more than two dozen FAST channels worldwide, including MovieSphere, recently the first FAST channel to be measured by Nielsen. Brisbin will also continue to oversee licensing and distribution of Lionsgate’s feature pic, STARZ original series, and premium TV library which includes such shows Weeds, Mad Men, The Rookie and The Recruit and many more.

Prior to her promotion, Brisbin served as EVP, International Television & Digital Distribution. A 12-year Lionsgate veteran, Brisbin’s career has included digital home entertainment, domestic sales and spearheading the studio’s international streaming business. She broke ground in opening up new international territories with strategic film output deals, and also covered worldwide ex-US first run series sales such as The Continental to Amazon PrimeRecently, Brisbin has led efforts to expand the company’s footprint of international FAST partners and will now focus on growing the business around the world.
