The original movie starred Gregory Peck and Lee Remick, and follows the story of a man who secretly replaces his and his wife's child after their own biological one dies in childbirth.
His wife is unaware that their son isn’t their own, and five years later supernatural occurrences begin as the father becomes convinced their son is the Antichrist.
Free played the role of Myrcella Baratheon on Game of Thrones for two seasons, though has been more widely known in recent years for playing Leanne Grayson in Apple TV+'s Servant.
The series came to an end this year after four seasons, and producer M Night Shyamalan previously opened up to Digital Spy about why he decided to end the show early.
The First Omen is set for release in the US on April 5, 2024. A UK release date is yet to be confirmed.
