Yahoo Movies First look at Sabrina and Modern Family stars in new horror movie
Sabrina actor Kiernan Shipka and Modern Family star Julie Bowen are teaming up for a new horror movie — the 1980s-set Totally Killer.
Shipka rose to prominence playing the titular Sabrina Spellman in Netflix's The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, while Bowen played Claire Dunphy in the hugely beloved Modern Family.
The duo will now play mother and daughter in Totally Killer, which is a horror movie set in the 1980s that will look to capture both horror and comedy in the form of a new slasher story that involves time travel.

The film follows the infamous "Sweet Sixteen Killer," who returns 35 years after murdering three teenagers to strike again on Halloween night and claim a fourth victim.
Bowen will play an over-protective mum trying to keep her daughter safe while Shipka stars as Jamie, a reckless 17-year-old who comes face-to-face with the masked murderer. However, when Jamie goes on the run from the killer, she accidentally travels back in time to 1987 — the year of the original killings.
There, she navigates the culture shock of the 1980s as she teams up with her teenaged mum (played by Olivia Holt) to stop the killer and prevent herself from becoming stuck in the past.

The film will also star Ant-Man actor Randall Park, plus Jonathan Potts, Charlie Gillespie, and Lochlyn Munro.
This isn't the only exciting project for Shipka and Bowen, however. Shipka, who also starred in Riverdale, will feature alongside Dwayne Johnson in a new movie.
Meanwhile, Bowen will be making a TV comeback with a new series, Hysteria. Bowen recently opened up about the downside of being seen with Nolan Gould, who played her on-screen son Luke in Modern Family.
"I live really close to Nolan and I see him a lot," Bowen said, explaining that she becomes confused over other people's assumptions when they are seen together.
"We actually went out the other night. It's fun when you go out with someone from Modern Family, they're like [mock gasps] and plus they're like, 'Is it like a Brady Bunch situation?' Because didn't Mrs Brady... with Greg?"
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina seasons 1-4 are streaming on Netflix.
