Yahoo Movies First trailer for Netflix's interactive rom-com movie with You star
You star Scott Michael Foster's interactive Netflix rom-com Choose Love has given us a first trailer ahead of release this month.
Directed by Stuart McDonald (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), the action primarily follows a recording engineer named Cami (played by Lady Bird actress Laura Marano), who seems to have everything: a dream job, a steady relationship and a promising future.
"But things have turned out a bit different than she planned," teases the synopsis on Netflix's Tudum site. "As she reassesses her life, Cami's fate is entirely up to you — from choosing a new career path to rethinking her relationships."

Like Black Mirror: Bandersnatch before it, Choose Love asks viewers to make choices as Cami faces a range of dilemmas, from seemingly small decisions to more ethically challenging ones.
Cami feels like she's missing out on life. Is she scared of settling down for good with her boyfriend Paul (Foster)? Does she still feel regret about abandoning the singing career she'd always dreamed of? What if Paul isn't meant to be her 'forever', and Rex (Avan Jogia), a British rock star, is?
Then again, perhaps "the one that got away" Jack (Jordi Webber) is back for a reason – her first love has suddenly reappeared in her life.

Hopefully the design process was easier for the Choose Love makers, after Black Mirror's Charlie Brooker previously admitted that he had to "literally get up from my desk and walk around the house holding my head" while planning out Bandersnatch.
"It was very challenging at every stage. There were points where, in working stuff out, it got like trying to do a Rubik's cube in your head," he said.
Choose Love premieres August 31 on Netflix. You seasons 1-4 are streaming on the same platform, while a fifth and final season has been announced.
