Florence Pugh's Midsommar among movies being removed from Netflix UK in July
Director Ari Aster's horror film Midsommar, starring Florence Pugh, is being removed from Netflix UK next month — along with some other favourites.
Set to leave on July 4, Midsommar stars Pugh as student Dani and follows her as she grieves the death of her sister and parents.
Dani travels to Sweden with her boyfriend and friends to attend a midsummer festival in Sweden. There, the group witness a series of ritualistic murders, and Dani ultimately finds a home within the Hårga community.

At present, Midsommar isn't available to stream for free on any other UK subscription service. But don't panic if it's your go-to watch, as the movie is available to rent and buy on Prime Video, Apple, Google Play, YouTube and more.
Sadly, it's not the only title leaving Netflix UK next month, as subscribers will have to wave goodbye to Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood on July 6.
Other titles to go in July include 2018's The Equalizer 2, the 2010 animation Megamind, the romantic dramedy He's Just Not That Into You and 2013's Beautiful Creatures.
Also leaving Netflix UK in July is the Aardman Animations gem Chicken Run, which departs on July 9.

However, the upcoming sequel Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is set for release on Netflix on December 15, so it's likely the original movie will return to the platform before too long.
Previously speaking about the final ritual in Midsommar, director Ari Aster said: "[I was] going through a break-up which was really fresh, and I saw a way of marrying the break-up movie with the folk-horror subgenre, and then kind of making like this big operatic break-up movie.
"That was why I wanted to write this. For me, the film was always a perverse wish fulfilment, a fantasy that was playing with a kind of catharsis that I hope people will have to wrestle with."
