Former EastEnders star Ricky Norwood lands next movie role
Former EastEnders star Ricky Norwood has landed a role in a new Christmas movie.
The actor, who played Fatboy in the BBC soap between 2010 and 2015 (with a brief comeback through a new flashback last year) and competed in Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing on Ice, will star in Jingle All the Slay.
Deadline reports that the film will also star The Princess Switch's Nick Sagar and Alexa Adeosun (Norwood also appeared in the films), with Terrifier 3's Bradley Stryker set to direct.

The official synopsis reads: "Hank Carter, a highly skilled hitman, has one last chance to save his marriage. Determined to give his family the perfect Christmas at a luxurious lake mansion, Hank tries to hide his dangerous profession.
"But when a bounty is placed on his head, waves of holiday-themed hitmen descend on the mansion, and Hank must fend them off using every Christmas decoration in sight – all while keeping his family in the dark."
Writer Charley McDougall cited Jingle All the Way, Rush Hour and John Wick as inspirations, stating: "This is a film we all know and grew up on being huge fans of 90s movies."

"Who doesn't love a bit of festive fun mixed with some intense action?" Sagar added.
"We're creating something completely fresh and can't wait for everyone to join us for the ride."
The film will be looking for a distributor at the American Film Market over the next week, so no release date has been announced yet.
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
