Game of Thrones Theory Suggests That Arya Stark May Kill This Major Character

Game of Thrones' Arya Stark claimed the biggest kill of the series at the Battle of Winterfell as she put an end to the Night King. But one increasingly popular fan theory is suggesting that she will take the life of another major character before the end.

And it's not Cersei Lannister.

As fans know, Maisie Williams' character has been prophesied to kill three significant characters.

"Brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. Eyes you'll shut forever," Melisandre memorably tells Arya in the third season.

The brown and blue eyes part of the prophecy appear to have been fulfilled with the deaths of Walder Frey and the Night King – but what about the green eyes?

Speculation used to point at Cersei (Lena Headey), but after the events of episode 4 'The Last of the Starks', many now think the third victim will be none other than Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

With the losses she suffered in the most recent episode, it appears that the writers are setting up Daenerys to become the Mad Queen, which could force Arya to take her out.

And, as a number of viewers have pointed out, there were a few camera shots that made Daenerys' green eyes stand out.

Elsewhere, creators David Benioff and DB Weiss have said that Daenerys should not be underestimated.

"Emotionally, she's alone in the world and she can't really trust anybody," Weiss commented, after Daenerys lost Rhaegal. "Unlike then, she's extremely powerful and unlike then she's filled with a rage that's aimed at one person specifically."
