Happy Valley star Amit Shah joins Netflix's Bank of Dave 2
Happy Valley's Amit Shah has joined the cast of Netflix's Bank of Dave: The Sequel.
Shah will play Oliver, a local Citizens Advice counsellor who assists Dave Fishwick (reprised by Rory Kinnear) in tackling payday loan companies. Dave also seeks help from Jessica, an American investigative journalist (played by This Is Us star Chrissy Metz).
"Together they embark on a journey that will eventually take them to the United States and help bring down an entire industry of predatory corporations," a synopsis for the movie reads.

With production now underway, it's been confirmed that Catastrophe's Rob Delaney and Fantastic Beasts' Dan Fogler will be joining the supporting cast. Rock band Def Leppard will also appear in the movie, playing themselves.
This Is England and After Life star Jo Hartley is also returning as Nicola Fishwick.
The Bank of Dave sequel has been filming on location in London and Burnley.

Meanwhile, the streaming platform is giving Black Mirror fans a long-awaited sequel to the season four episode 'USS Callister'. Next year's seventh season will consist of six instalments, one of which sees the space crew discovering fresh hell after the death of Captain Robert Daly.
Suranne Jones of Gentleman Jack and Doctor Foster fame is teaming up with Bridge of Spies writer Matt Charman for a five-part political thriller on Netflix, too.
She's portraying British Prime Minister Abigail Dalton, whose summit with France's counterpart Vivienne Toussaint leads to kidnap and blackmail.
"Forced into a fierce rivalry where their political futures, and lives, might hang in the balance, can they work together to uncover the plot that threatens them both?" a synopsis teases.
Bank of Dave: The Sequel premieres next year on Netflix.
