Henry Cavill asks for parenting tips in sweet baby update
Henry Cavill has asked for some parenting tips as he prepare to become a dad in a cute Father's Day post.
The Argylle and former Superman actor shared a photo of himself in front of a wooden crib yesterday (June 16), asking fans for some daddy dos and don'ts, while also revealing that he fully intends to get his child into his nerdy hobbies.
"Oh yeah.....and Happy Father's Day ye dads out there," he wrote in the caption. "Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon! Any tips??
"And don't worry, pillows won't be in the crib when the wee one arrives, just glue and scalpels so he or she can build Warhammer miniatures. #FathersDay."

Cavill announced back in April that his partner Natalie Viscuso is pregnant, although he didn't say at the time how far along she was.
"I'm very excited about [fatherhood]. Natalie and I are very, very excited," he said. "Yeah, I'm sure you'll see much more of that."
The couple have been dating since 2021.

Becoming a parent follows on from another major change in Cavill's life in the last few years, as it was confirmed in late 2022 that he had left the lead role in The Witcher TV series after three seasons of playing Geralt of Rivia.
Liam Hemsworth is taking over the role, and was recently seen in a brief teaser video.
"As with the greatest of literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for the time spent embodying Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam's take on this most fascinating and nuanced of men," Cavill previously said about the recasting.
"Liam, good sir, this character has such a wonderful depth to him, enjoy diving in and seeing what you can find."
