The BBC has finally confirmed the premiere date for Inside No. 9, a mere week after giving us our first look at Jenna Coleman and Maxine Peake in the black comedy anthology show.

It was confirmed on Wednesday (January 22) that the horror comedy series will be back on screens from Monday, February 3 at 10pm with a football-themed episode, irreverently titled 'The Referee's A W***er'.

Once again, the highly popular series is returning with a whole new bunch of creepy stories, taking place in locations marked in some way by the number nine.

The trailer doesn't give too much away, but we do briefly get to see Coleman (Doctor Who, Victoria) and Peake (Black Mirror, Silk) in action, as well as series creators Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton, who are once again taking on screen roles.

In addition to Coleman and Peake, the fifth series will also include guest appearances from The Missing's David Morrissey and Black Mirror: Bandersnatch's Fionn Whitehead, as well as Waterloo Road and EastEnders icon Jill Halfpenny.
