Twenty-five James Bond films — including No Time To Die — will stream on Prime Video UK from 15 April, it has been announced.

All 25 of the canon Bond films from 1962's Dr No up to 2021's No Time To Die, starring Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig as 007 will be on Amazon's streaming service 'for a limited time' following the shopping giant's recent acquisition of MGM.

In March, Amazon finalised an acquisition of the Hollywood studio for $8.5bn (£6.5bn). MGM is co-owner of the James Bond films with Eon Productions, the British production firm run by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson.

The only Bond films not available on there from April will be 1967's Casino Royale starring David Niven, and 1983's Never Say Never Again starring Sean Connery.

This marks the streaming debut of Daniel Craig's Bond swan song No Time To Die, the UK's highest-grossing film of 2021, which hit cinemas in September last year.

2022 marks the 60th anniversary of the James Bond films, with Sean Connery's 007 debut Dr No being released in October, 1962. Tributes have already been paid to the long-running spy series at the Baftas, which saw Dame Shirley Bassey performing Diamonds Are Forever in the show opening, and at the Academy Awards where a montage was played during the ceremony.

A new James Bond video game is also in development at IO Interactive, from the makers of the Hitman games.

Prime Video also recently announced a Bond-inspired reality show 007's Road to a Million. According to Variety, contestants will take part in a race around the world which covers locations featured in the Bond films and where two-person teams will have to take on physical challenges as well as answering questions to move on to the next place in the hope of winning £1 million.
