Jennifer Lawrence May Star In New Ocean’s 11 Movie With Sandra Bullock

Jennifer Lawrence may be set to join fellow Oscar-winning superstar Sandra Bullock in a revival of the popular heist movie series ‘Ocean’s 11.’

The Tracking Board report that Lawrence is a hot favourite to join the female-led spin on the format with Bullock in the lead - and if she signs on, it will mark a reunion with her ‘The Hunger Games’ director Gary Ross.

However, whilst TBR describe the film as a ‘reboot’ of the Ocean’s series, it’s more accurately a spin-off set in the same universe as the existing movies from director Steven Soderbergh.

Bullock will reportedly portray “an ex-con and Danny Ocean’s sister. With a team of thieves, she sets out of steal a necklace from the Met Ball and frame a crooked gallery owner.

“Lawrence is being considered for the role of Bullock’s right-hand woman.”

2001′s ‘Ocean’s 11′ - itself a remake of a 1960 movie starring Frank Sinatra and the ‘Rat Pack’ - was noted for its star-studded cast, boasting George Clooney as Ocean alongside Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon.

The ensemble reunited with director Soderbergh on two sequels, but there’s no indication at present as to whether or not any of them will be involved in this as-yet untitled offshoot.

As well as directing, Ross will co-write with Olivia Milch.
