John Cena has provided a tantalising update on Fast & Furious 9, saying that fans of the franchise will have their questions answered by the blockbuster.

“Everybody knows Fast is going to kill it when it comes to action,” Cena proclaimed. “The thing I love about Fast 9 is people are going to see it weave that legacy together. It's not nearly 'What is Fast gonna do next for action;' it is action on the edge of your seat, but story.”

It was at this point that the former wrestler promised that the film will deliver, especially when it comes to questions that previous films have left lingering.

“If you're a fan of the franchise, you get questions answered, you get new questions you can develop, it's another foothold to the narrative. That's the stuff that I love.”

The biggest question that fans have been asking about Fast & Furious 9 regards the return of Sung Kang’s Han Lue, a former member of Dominic Toretto’s crew who was believed to have been killed by Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw.

Shaw’s repeated inclusion in the Fast & Furious franchise, which saw him become a member of the crew in The Fate Of The Furious and get his own spin-off in the shape of Hobbs & Shaw, left many viewers furious.

We’ll finally get to see how Fast & Furious 9 deals with the return of Han when it is released on May 28, 2021.
