Sunday night would have been a big stage for Josh Gordon to make his debut for the New England Patriots, but we won’t see the newest addition to Tom Brady’s receiving corps for at least another week.

Gordon has been officially ruled out for Week 3 against the Detroit Lions.

With Gordon out and Julian Edelman still suspended, the Patriots will still depend on Chris Hogan, Phillip Dorsett and Cordarrelle Patterson as Brady’s top options at receiver.

Of course having Rob Gronkowski at tight end solves a lot of wideout woes.
