Spacey can now add his KBE to the CBE he was awarded in 2010.

The two-time Oscar-winner was appointed the artistic director of The Old Vic Theatre in London in 2003, serving in the role until 2015.

Since then, he’s taken on arguably his most iconic role, that of political climber Frank Underwood in the Netflix series 'House of Cards’.

A fifth season of the show will air in 2017.
