Yahoo Movies Killers of the Flower Moon sets new record for Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo DiCaprio has reached new heights on Rotten Tomatoes thanks to Martin Scorsese's true-crime epic Killers of the Flower Moon.
Adapted from David Grann's 2017 book, it focuses on Oklahoma's Osage tribe of the 1920s, who began to mysteriously die after oil was discovered under their reservation.
At the time of writing, from 74 certified reviews, Flower Moon holds a 97% rating on the aggregator site – besting DiCaprio's previous highest rated film, Catch Me If You Can, by one percent.

Empire Magazine's John Nugent wrote of the movie in a five-star review: "Scorsese and co-writer Eric Roth craft a riveting crime thriller, a genuinely epic story that zips along until, somehow, three-and-a-half hours have passed by in an instant.
"Monumental stuff: a story about the deadly legacy of America's colonial sins, both vast and intimate in scope. Exceptional filmmaking, by an exceptional filmmaker."
Jessica Kiang of Sight and Sound hailed Flower Moon's third act in particular, noting: "In its gripping, turbulent, breathless final third – including a witty, touching epilogue – Killers of the Flower Moon becomes more than a revisionist western, more than a poisonous love story and more even than a classic gangster movie.
"It becomes a Martin Scorsese film, and there can be no higher praise."

In the film, DiCaprio stars as Ernest Burkhart, with Billions actress Lily Gladstone onboard as his wife Mollie, and Robert De Niro (The Irishman) plays Ernest's conniving uncle William King Hale.
Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow, Brendan Fraser and a whole ensemble of Native Americans add solid support.
Killers of the Flower Moon comes to cinemas on Friday, October 20.
