Kit Harington's motherhood horror Baby Ruby is available to watch on Netflix in the UK.

The Game of Thrones actor stars opposite Noémie Merlant (Portrait of a Lady on Fire) in the movie written and directed by Tony-nominated playwright Bess Wohl.

Premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2022, Baby Ruby features Merlant as lifestyle influencer and mother-to-be Jo. In a happy marriage to Spencer (Harington), Jo insists on throwing her own baby shower and that nothing is going to be different once their bundle of joy arrives.

Soon, it becomes clear Jo's life is set to change drastically as she starts experiencing weird occurrences related to the birth.

After welcoming Ruby, Jo is on her own as she grapples with the challenges of motherhood, joins a mum group and realises her daughter may be acting different around her as opposed to her dad and grandmother.

The dramatic trailer (which you can watch above) sees Jo showing signs of postpartum depression as her struggles are brushed off by Spencer, who tells her that "everyone goes through this".

Rounding out the cast of Baby Ruby are Meredith Hagner, Jayne Atkinson and Reed Birney.

The film, which is available to watch on Hulu in the US, earned positive reviews following its Toronto debut two years ago.

At the time, IndieWire praised Wohl's direction, saying the director "pulls the psychological horror components through with aplomb", while The Playlist argued the film conveys "a powerful message" about a hidden part of motherhood.

Baby Ruby is available to watch on Netflix in the UK and on Hulu in the US.
