It's time to make like N*SYNC and say Bye Bye Bye to the whopping 92 films and TV shows that are leaving Netflix UK in April.

Yes, while we look forward to an abundance of fresh arrivals on the streamer this month, including buzzy new comedy drama Beef and a second series of DC ComicsSweet Tooth, the (streaming) hand that giveth sadly must also be the (streaming) hand that taketh away.

Most eye-catching among the departees is a lot of the streamer’s Dreamworks Animation content, including the first two Kung Fu Panda movies, Shrek The Third and Shrek Forever After, the eminently memeable Bee Movie, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, and Matthew McConaughey-starrer Sing.

Elsewhere, more family films are following suit, with the first two Spy Kids films, the entire Open Season quadrilogy, and Rowan Atkinson’s Mr Bean’s Holiday also departing at the start of the month.

And it isn’t just the kid-friendly content that’s up for the culling either, as classics like Taxi Driver, The Green Mile, and The Hunt For Red October are packing their bags too. They’re joined by cult favourites Scary Movie and Sleepy Hollow, as well as modern gems like Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me By Your Name, Rian Johnson’s Looper, and American Assassin.

Early in the month it’s also worth noting that Mike Flanagan’s supremely spooky 2016 horror Hush leaving Netflix. This one has no physical media release and no other streamer has access to it at present, so now is the time to get on it if you haven't already.

With thanks to What’s On Netflix, here’s all of the movies and TV shows that are leaving Netflix UK in April 2023…
