'Lord of the Rings' hobbits have reunion meal together
Four of the main actors from the Lord of the Rings movies have had a mini-reunion.
All of the main hobbit actors from the trilogy — Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd — got together in Florida before Mega Con Orlando.
The photo was shared by Monaghan — who played Merry — on his Instagram and he also wrote: "It was another one of those successful smash it out of the park, kick it into row Z, slap my arse and call me Lucy if any of it was recorded none of us would work again meals."

In the picture, which is a selfie taken by Boyd, the four men can be seen enjoying food and wine at an upscale tapas restaurant owned by acclaimed chef Jose Andres.
In the incredibly popular fantasy series, the four actors played the hobbits Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin, who set off on a quest with Frodo with tasked with destroying the One Ring to Rule Them All.
The four stars previously reunited on The Friendship Onion podcast which is ran by Monaghan and Boyd. They have also appeared at various comic-con conventions together.
None of the four actors will be involved in Amazon's new Lord of the Rings TV show as they did not buy the rights to JRR Tolkien's books, just the appendices and the right to use the name.
Amazon said about the upcoming show which is entitled The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: "Until now, audiences have only seen on-screen the story of the One Ring – but before there was one, there were many… and we're excited to share the epic story of them all."
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premieres on Amazon on 2 September.
