Lord Sugar will front a new series of 'The Apprentice Australia'.

The 75-year-old businessman has fronted all 17 series of the UK-based show, but he is heading Down Under once again for a brand-new season of the Australian version.

The programme has been confirmed to begin on BBC Three on April 4th.

It will see 16 celebrities battle it out over the coming weeks to win money for their charities, avoid being fired, and ultimately end up crowned Australia’s Celebrity Apprentice.

On the show, Lord Sugar will be joined by retail magnate Janine Allis and tycoon Nick Bell to judge the first challenge.

Week one will tee off with a fundraising golf tournament, in which the stars are split into two teams, ‘Innovate’ and ‘Collaborate’.

Earlier this week, Lord Sugar admitted he thinks the UK-based 'The Apprentice' would "kill itself off" if he was replaced on the programme.

He told The Sun newspaper: "I don’t want to sound too big-headed but a lot of people underestimate me.

"They hear me talking like a cockney, but I know everything, I really do.

"I’m not degrading people like ('Dragons' Den' star) Peter Jones, because they’ve done a lot also.

"But none of them have done as much as I have.

"Who would I put in my place? I can’t think of anybody. There’s loads of people that would queue up."

'The Apprentice Australia' starts at 9pm on Tuesday 4 April on BBC Three, and the whole series will be available to watch via BBC iPlayer from 6am on the same day.
