It's no secret: Bacon doesn't have a great reputation when it comes to health. It's fatty, salty, and terrible for your arteries, but the nitrates in it could be even worse for you. The biggest difference in taste between Kirkland and Member's Mark bacon is the saltiness. Costco's brand tastes distinctly saltier than the competition.
