Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington have taken their relationship to the next level by moving in together.

The 'Strictly Come Dancing' pro dancers - who went Instagram official with their romance this week when she shared a picture of the pair holding hands in The Ivy restaurant - are said to be sharing an abode in London together.

A source close to the couple told The Sun newspaper: "Moving in together was the obvious next step for Nadiya and Kai. They’ve grown so close and it just made sense.

"Kai helped Nadiya move in her belongings this week and they’re excited about making their property feel like a shared home."

The couple are said to have been dating since January, a month after the latest 'Strictly' series came to a close.

Nadiya was partnered by outgoing 'BBC Breakfast' host Dan Walker during the series, and the TV presenter admitted he and his wife Sarah Walker - who he has been married to since 2001 - discussed the so-called "'Strictly' curse" after he was paired with the pro dancer.

He said: "When Sarah saw who I was partnered with, we had to have a laugh about it.

"Obviously, you discuss those things, the curse, but it wasn’t a lengthy discussion. I think we tried to make it light-hearted, to have fun doing it."

But Dan revealed Nadiya, 32, became close to his family during the series.

He said: "But the first Monday I trained with Nadiya, she came around and had dinner with my family. We’ve been out four or five times to restaurants.

"My family is really, really important to me and always have been and always will be. I didn’t want them to feel excluded.

"So no, being paired with Nadiya was never a problem. Friendship is a blessing. And I think from the moment we first met, Nadiya and I knew we were going to get on.

"But I’ve always introduced her on any social media video I’ve ever done as my ‘professional partner’ because that’s her job. She is very professional.

"We had a good laugh. We messed about with silly sketches during our lunchbreak but we worked really hard."
