Paula Patton Reveals Warcraft Costume Nerves

Paula Patton says her revealing ‘Warcraft’ costume left her feeling a little embarrassed on the first day of shooting.

“I guess you have to get past that first moment of being half-naked in front of everybody,” Paula told Yahoo Movies, adding that she thought Travis Fimmel’s huge suit of armour was actually more uncomfortable to wear than her leather bikini.

Her half-orc character Garona is being kept as a slave at the start of the film, hence the skimpy cavewoman get up, but it’s soon (perhaps wisely) ditched in favour of a less revealing suit of armour.

Toby Kebbell, who plays orc leader Durotan via CGI and performance capture, named Paula’s costume as the most uncomfortable to wear by a clear margin.

“It’s not just that [Paula’s costume] is skimpy,” Kebbel told us, “It was freezing in Vancouver… but she had to walk out and do that and be that person right from the beginning when everyone’s in cool armour wearing wigs, looking awesome, and she’s wearing tusks and dealing with dry mouth.”

“I think she had the hardest time [out of everyone].”
