Phillip Schofield Criticises Stephanie Davis And Jeremy McConnell: 'I Can't Be Bothered Anymore'

It seems like we aren’t the only ones getting a little bit fed up with Celebrity Big Brother’s Jeremy McConnell and Stephanie Davis’ showmance.

The on-again-off-again couple first hit the headlines when Stephanie cheated on her boyfriend, Sam Reece, with Jeremy whilst in the CBB house - and the couple have ensured that they’ve kept the limelight on them ever since.

In case you missed it, over the weekend Jeremy tweeted that his and Steph’s relationship was over, admitting that he’d been “the biggest mug”, deleting the tweet a short while later.

The next day Steph pulled out of an appearance on Loose Women, releasing a public statement that she was “too upset” to appear on the show because “everything has changed” for her - with it being all-but-confirmed that she and Jez had split.

A while after that she took to her Twitter account to insist that she and Jeremy are “very much” still together, with Jeremy later accusing “the media” of “twisting their words”…

Eh? Nothing really to “twist” when you publicly say that you’ve split, is there?

Now This Morning’s Phillip Schofield has had an outburst over the couple by basically saying what everybody is thinking.

When discussing ‘Jephanie’ on yesterday’s show, Schofe seethed:“Who cares?! I should imagine the production team of Loose Women are pretty furious that they pulled out of the show and then rocked up later on.

"I loved them in CBB and thought it’d be interesting to see what happened afterwards but now we’ve got embroiled in all of this nonsense, I can’t be bothered anymore.”

He later added on his Twitter account that the fact that the couple are hellbent on acting out their relationship in public means that he does have a right to talk about it, hitting back at critics with: “It wouldn’t be under the spotlight if they kept it off Twitter and worked it out privately.

“Loved them on CBB, but bored now.”

And: “It’s being played out in public! It would have absolutely nothing to do with me if they kept it to themselves!”

Needless to say, Schofe - we couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
