Richard Dreyfuss isn't dead he confirms, after Julia Louis-Dreyfus Emmy speech
Richard Dreyfuss is not Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s late father, he’s been compelled to confirm.
The ‘Jaws’ star took to Twitter after Louis-Dreyfus dedicated her Emmy win to her dad in an emotional speech.

Scoring Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in political satire ‘Veep’, she told the audience that her father had only passed away last Friday.
“Lastly, I’d like to dedicate this to my father, William Louis-Dreyfus, who passed away on Friday. I’m so glad that he liked Veep because his opinion was the one that really mattered,” she said.
Despite giving his full name in the speech, many seemingly sent ‘concerned tweets’ to the ‘Close Encounters’ legend.

Louis-Dreyfus’s father was born Gérard C. Louis-Dreyfus, a billionaire businessman and chairman of Louis Dreyfus Energy Services, and descendent of the Louis Dreyfus business dynasty, founded in 1851 in France.
He was estimated to be worth $3.4 billion by Forbes magazine in 2006.
