Yahoo Movies Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix expecting second child together
Napoleon star Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara are reportedly expecting their second child together.
The Women Talking actress appeared to be cradling a growing baby bump while attending the premiere of her latest film La Cocina at the the Berlinale International Film Festival on Friday (February 16).
While the couple are yet to officially confirm the news, Mara could be seen holding her stomach while posing for photos on the the red carpet. Digital Spy has reached out to representatives for the couple to seek comment.
The baby will be the second for the couple, who quietly welcomed their first child in 2020.

That news was revealed by director Victor Kossakovsky during the Zurich Film Festival, who explained that Phoenix's absence from the event was due to the arrival of his child.
"He just got a baby, by the way, his name was... a beautiful son called River, so he cannot promote [the film] right now," Kossakovsky said at the time, explaining why Phoenix wasn't at the event to promote their project Gunda.
The child's name was in honour of Pheonix's late brother River, who passed away in 1993 aged 23.
Mara later opened up on her experiences of motherhood during an appearance on the LaunchLeft podcast in January 2023, calling it "the best thing in the world".

"I love it. I love it so much. I think it's the best thing in the world," she said, adding: "It sounds so cliché when you talk about it, but things are cliché for a reason."
Pheonix and Mara met on the set of the film Her in 2013, and began dating three years later after reuniting for the film Mary Magdalene. The couple confirmed their engagement in May 2019.
Recently appearing as French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte in Ridley Scott's historical epic, Pheonix will be reprising his role as Arthur Fleck in Joker: Folie à Deux.
A sequel to 2019's Joker, the film will see the actor star alongside Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn/Dr Harleen Quinzel.
