Ryan Gosling's new waxwork is a little bit creepy

All waxworks are pretty sinister. That’s why there’s a horror movie about them.

And this specimen, modelled on Ryan Gosling and unveiled in Berlin yesterday, is no exception.

The forehead is out (by a fair few inches), and those eyes are just close enough together to become more than a little unnerving.

And the less said about his creepy bum-fluff tache, the better.

Though it has to be said, Gosling is often snapped with his hands in his pockets, so there’s that.

Luckily, the wax rendering that can be found in the London branch of the worldwide waxwork chain (see below) is a bit more on the money.

The model was presented at Madame Tussauds in Berlin ahead of Gosling and his latest movie ‘La La Land’s likely trawl in the Oscar nominations, to be announced today.

Gosling is probably a dead cert to be up for the Best Actor gong, alongside the likes of Andrew Garfield for ‘Hacksaw Ridge’, Denzel Washington for ‘Fences’ and Casey Affleck for ‘Manchester By The Sea’.
