Saltburn's Jacob Elordi replaces Andrew Garfield in new movie
Saltburn star Jacob Elordi has replaced Andrew Garfield in Guillermo del Toro's upcoming adaptation of Frankenstein for Netflix.
According to Deadline, Spider-Man: No Way Home star Garfield has been forced to drop out of the project due to scheduling conflicts following the actor's strike, with Elordi now taking over the role of Frankenstein's monster.
Elordi joins previously announced stars Oscar Isaac and Mia Goth, who are set to play Victor Frankenstein and Dr Frankenstein's love interest Elizabeth Lavenza respectively.
Christoph Waltz (Spectre), Felix Kammerer (All Quiet on the Western Front), Lars Mikkelsen (Ahsoka), David Bradley (Game of Thrones) and Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth) have also been added to the ensemble cast.

The movie is the latest adaptation of Mary Shelley's 1818 classic, which tells the story of young scientist Victor Frankenstein who brings a monstrous creature to life in an experiment - which ultimately brings about his downfall.
Del Toro is handling writing and directing duties for the project alongside J. Miles Dale, who previously produced his horror series Cabinet of Curiosities for Netflix.
Creating a Frankenstein movie has been a long-held dream for del Toro, who previously told BBC Radio's Simon Mayo in 2009: "Frankenstein is my lifelong dream, one of the primal books in my life, one of the primal monsters in my own mythology. I'm hoping I get to do that very, very much.
"If I shoot it five years from now, six years from now, it's fine by me. You have one shot in your lifetime at these things and I don't want to do it the wrong way."

Further details about the movie's plot and setting are yet to be announced.
The news follows a busy few months for Euphoria star Elordi, who recently starred as aristocrat Felix Catton alongside Barry Keoghan in Emerald Fennell's film Saltburn, which is currently available to watch on Prime Video.
He has also featured alongside Cailee Spaeny in biopic Priscilla, which follows Priscilla Presley's marriage to Elvis.
