Sam’s Club Just Brought Back My Favorite Snack That Always Sells Out Quickly

Spring weather is only just breaking in most parts of the country, yet brands and grocery stores are already gearing up for summer. In the past few weeks alone, Truly and White Claw have already launched their new summer collections (both include tequila), Dairy Queen started offering its summer menu, and Reese’s rolled out its Summer Olympics-inspired medal shapes.

Sam’s Club has jumped on board with early summer, selling a club-sized version of the limited-edition Reese’s Medals and bringing back the viral pineapple spears perfect for poolside snacking. While my next trip to Sam’s will include buying those two items, another summertime food has returned early—and I couldn’t be happier.

My favorite summertime snack, Stars & Stripes Yogurt Flavored Dipped Pretzels by Creative Snacks Co., is officially back on Sam’s shelves for a limited time.

As May draws nearer, you might already be thinking about your Memorial Day weekend plans. Sam's Club obviously is, which is why the red, white, and blue yogurt-coated pretzels have returned.

The sweet, salty, crunchy snack is typically only sold around the summer patriotic holidays—Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day—hence the red and blue sprinkles on the white star-shaped pretzels. They're increasingly challenging to find once we get deeper into the summer months because the 22-ounce bag sells out so quickly.

I understand why they're hard to get your hands on—once I start eating them, I can never put them down. Each salty pretzel is coated with creamy, sweet yogurt and crunchy sprinkles.

The bag may be 22 ounces, but those 22 ounces disappear extremely fast. I typically buy a couple of bags because one would never last me through a long weekend filled with potlucks, fireworks, and fireside snacking.

Of course, I'm not the only Sam's member who loves this perfect sweet-and-salty snack. Even non-Sam's members find a way to get their hands on them.

"I'm not a Sam's member but when these seasonal dipped pretzels come out, I find someone who is to grab me a few bags! My kids love the Stars & Stripes version in particular because of the sprinkles add a fun texture to the sweet treat," said Allrecipes editor Andrea Lobas.

If you're looking for the best time to stock up on the $7.48 pretzels, now's your chance. I'd recommend grabbing a few bags soon because if you go to Sam's the week before Memorial Day looking for them, forget about it. After that, you might have luck restocking your stash between the three summer holidays, but you'll have to time your visits right.

Don't be surprised if your bag's gone before the first firework shoots off—I warned you.
