Sam Neill Says His Jurassic Park Character May Be Dead

Say it aint so!

Sam Neill seems to have dashed any hopes we had about his ‘Jurassic Park’ character appearing in ‘Jurassic World 2′ by claiming Dr. Alan Grant “may have died”.

The ‘Peaky Blinders’ star was in town promoting his new film, the hit Kiwi comedy ‘Hunt For The Wilderpeople’, when we asked him whether we’d see the famed palaeontologist again.

“I don’t know where Alan Grant is now,” Neill told Yahoo Movies, “He might have died. He could have a new career as an accountant. He could be running for President of the United States, in a parallel universe. I don’t know where he is. I don’t know if anyone could find him, he’s disappeared.”

Before we panic though, we’re sure Sam Neill was probably just trolling us.

The poor guy had been stuck in a boiling-hot unventilated room answering the same old endless questions, and was likely just having a bit of fun with us.

We’d be surprised if the ‘Jurassic World’ sequels didn’t feature some or all of the original ‘Jurassic Park’ cast. As we all know, life DOES find a way.

The totally hilarious and majestical ‘Hunt For The Wilderpeople’ is in UK cinemas now.
