Samuel L. Jackson Is Back in the Recording Studio for The Incredibles 2

The Incredibles (and Frozone) are back!

Samuel L. Jackson took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal that he was working on the first recording session to the highly anticipated film The Incredibles 2.

The news comes 12 years after the release of The Incredibles, which soared into movie theaters in 2004. In his Instagram post, the 67-year-old actor kept the caption short and simple, writing, “It’s about to go down…”

It's about to go down... First recording session for.... INCREDIBLES 2!!!!

Jackson will return to voice Lucius Best, Mr. Incredible’s best friend and an ice-based superhero known as Frozone.

While details about the sequel being kept tightly under wraps, director Brad Bird told EW in August he wants to create new storylines for the characters.

“Hopefully, it’s the same characters and feel, but going in a new direction,” he said. “I mean, that’s the trick with a sequel. It’s repeating yourself, without repeating yourself.”
